Month 1: Holy Beginnings & Purification
The first six chapters of Isaiah focus on: God’s call to repentance, His promise of cleansing, and the vision of His absolute holiness.
The Call to Holiness
1. Prepare to a write an entry after
reading the focus verse(s).
2. Reflect on what the verse is saying to you.
3. Turn the scripture into a personal prayer.

Day 1 -Isaiah 1:2
Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken.
LISTENING: Ask God to give you a "hearing heart" for the rest of this year.
Day 2- Isaiah 1:16
Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes.
CLEANSING: Pray for God to reveal habits or thoughts that need to be "washed" away.
Day 3- Isaiah 1:17
Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
ACTION: Ask for an opportunity to help someone in need today.
Day 4- Isaiah 1:18
Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.
GRACE: Meditate on the total forgiveness God offers you through His mercy.
Day 5- Isaiah 1:19
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.
OBEDIENCE: Pray for a willing spirit to follow God's lead in a difficult area.
Day 6- Isaiah 1:25
And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross.
REFINING: Ask God to remove the "dross" (impurities) from your character.
Day 7- Isaiah 2:2
The mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains.
PERSPECTIVE: Pray for God's Kingdom to be the highest priority in your life.
Day 8- Isaiah 2:3
Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord... and he will teach us of his ways.
Day 9 -Isaiah 2:5
O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.
Day 10 -Isaiah 2:11
The lofty looks of man shall be humbled... and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
Day 11- Isaiah 2:22
Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?
Day 12- Isaiah 3:10
Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
Day 13 -Isaiah 4:2
In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious.
Day 14- Isaiah 4:5
For upon all the glory shall be a defense.
Day 15- Isaiah 4:6
And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat.
Day 16- Isaiah 5:1
Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard.
Day 17- Isaiah 5:4
What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it?
Day 18- Isaiah 5:16
But the Lord of hosts shall be exalted in judgment.
Day 19- Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light.
Day 20- Isaiah 5:21
Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
Day 21- Isaiah 6:1
In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up.
Day 22- Isaiah 6:1
...and his train filled the temple.
Day 23- Isaiah 6:2
Above it stood the seraphims... with twain he did fly.
Day 24- Isaiah 6:3
Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
Day 25- Isaiah 6:4And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried.
Day 26- Isaiah 6:5
Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips.
Day 27- Isaiah 6:5
...for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.
Day 28- Isaiah 6:6
Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand.
Day 29- Isaiah 6:7
Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
Day 30- Isaiah 6:8
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?
Day 31- Isaiah 6:8
Then said I, Here am I; send me.
